Bothwell Community Council – Elections 2022
BCC has been instructed to proceed with elections in terms with SLC’s Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils, and as such, we’re looking for new members!
We love where we live and are determined to help where we can – whether it’s supporting local residents with queries to different authorities, liaising with our councillors on relevant hot topics or working with other local groups to help keep Bothwell the safe and thriving local community that it is, both for us and our children.
It would be hard not to notice some of the projects BCC has instigated or been involved with over recent years, from the successful Phase 1 development of Wooddean Park and the resurfacing of The Glebe, to this year’s fabulous Platinum Jubilee celebrations and the exciting times ahead with the Bothwell Futures group, and their plans to transform our library building into a space for generations to come…
Exciting? We think so! If you share our thoughts and have a similar enthusiasm and passion to help our village grow and thrive, then we’d love to hear from you.
Even if you’d just like to find out a bit more about what we do please get in contact – shaping the future of our village leaves a legacy to benefit the next generation, so get involved!
Forms can be found on the SLC website at (https://bit.ly/3Jz9uhf) so feel free to browse, or contact us directly from this page or on bothwellcommunitycouncil@gmail.com.
*** Remember – nominations close on Wednesday 14th September @ 4pm ***
