Community Knitting Event in Jollytots & Cookies, Play Café, Uddingston in aid of Big Issue.
Wednesday 18th November 2015 6-8.30pm
Littleknitknatz and all our lovely knitting kids would really appreciate if you could support this
fantastic cause by coming along to this FREE event and helping us to knit
squares to be made into blankets for the homeless in Glasgow.
Last year we knitted over 100 squares to be made into blankets, and this year we’re hoping to exceed that.
All donations of time, skill, wool and spreading the word are really appreciated to help make this a
really successful event and keep some of our locals warm this winter.
If you have some wool and needles please bring along and we will get you started. We will have
some needles to borrow and some wool available for a small donation of your choice to the Big Issue.
If you can’t make it to the event then perhaps you could donate some handknitted goods of your choice to the event for sale in aid of Big
Issue. There are some simple patterns on the Big Issue website participants area accessed using passcode Knitathon2015.
